Dear colleagues,
It is my great honor and pleasure, on behalf of the Macedonian Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, to welcome you to the Sixth Symposium “News in Allergology and Clinical Immunology”, which will be held from September 21 to 24, 2023, at the Hotel Drim, Struga.
The symposium is dedicated to allergology and clinical immunology. Traditionally, not only pulmonologists and allergists will participate in this Symposium, but also all other related specialties whose daily activity is deeply intertwined with allergology and clinical immunology, such as dermatologists, ENT specialists, pediatricians, occupational medicine specialists, ophthalmologists,, and others.
The main topics of the symposium are: the use of antibiotics in adults and children in the treatment of upper and lower respiratory infections, rare diseases, allergic diseases, pulmonary diseases, pediatric and dermatological diseases, as well as occupational diseases treated by occupational medicine specialists.
The symposium is a continuation of the Society’s long-standing tradition of informing the wider medical public about the latest recommendations in the diagnosis and treatment of a large number of diseases that are jointly treated by the aforementioned specialties.
Also, at this Symposium colleagues will be able to exchange experiences on the latest scientific and professional achievements in the field of allergology and clinical immunology.

In the name of the Society of Pulmonologists of the Republic of Macedonia – SPRM, I am honored to invite you to participate in the First Symposium “News in Pulmonology 2023”, which will be held from September 21 to 24, 2023 at Hotel Drim, Struga.
I would like to thank the president of MSACI, Prof. Dr. Dejan Dokic for the idea and invitation for these two associations to have a joint presentation due to the close and complementary pathology that is the subject of our professional interest.
During the First Symposium “News in Pulmonology 2023”, through plenary lectures and poster presentations, scientific and clinical aspects of some respiratory diseases will be discussed and I am sure that they will arouse interest in your active participation.
