Second Symposium Pharmacy Health Care – Diabetes – Smart Pharmacist Module 2

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my great honor and pleasure, on behalf of the Association of Private Pharmacies of the Republic of Macedonia, to announce the Second Symposium of the Pharmacy Health Protection on the topic of Diabetes – Smart Pharmacist Module 2, which will be held from 01 to 03.04.2024 at the Hilton Hotel, Skopje, RN Macedonia.

In cooperation with the international organization Pharma Expert, Assoc. Dr. Ariana Meshtrović, who is the co-author of the Smart Pharmacist Program, is the main educator and moderator of these three-day interactive workshops.

Multiple aspects of Pharmaceutical Care for Diabetic Patients will be covered

• Guidelines for the treatment of diabetes,
• Correct practical application of insulin and oral antidiabetics,
• Rational pharmacotherapy,
• Supplementation,
• Prevention of complications,
• Risk assessment for diabetes in undiagnosed patients,
• Collecting and documenting data,
• Patient monitoring,
• Professional communication with doctors.

The symposium will be multi-disciplinary and is intended not only for pharmacists but also for family doctors and specialists.
