With great pride, I announce that today, for the first time in Macedonia, a new association dedicated to abdominal surgery is being formed. This significant moment marks a new era of collaboration and progress in our professional development. Our goal is to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and resources, which will lead to an improvement in the quality of surgical care in our country.
As the president of the association, allow me to thank you for attending our First Symposium of the Macedonian Association of Abdominal Surgeons (MAAS) and the Fourth Meeting of the WEB Chapter of E-AHPBA, which will be held on March 28-29, 2024, at the Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton in Skopje. I have the honor and pleasure to welcome you on behalf of all our members and supporters.
This symposium represents an important step in the development not only of our association but also in the advancement of abdominal surgery in Macedonia. We are here not only to share our knowledge and experiences but also to encourage international collaboration and innovation in the field of abdominal surgery.
During this event, we will have the opportunity to listen to lectures from prestigious experts and participate in constructive discussions that will enhance our understanding and practice. I believe that with joint efforts, we can achieve much and make significant improvements in the quality of surgical care in our country.
