Third Symposium Pharmacy Health Care – Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, and Obesity – Smart Pharmacist Module 3

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my great honor and pleasure, on behalf of the Association of Private Pharmacies of North Macedonia (APPRNM), to invite you to the Third Symposium on Pharmacy Health Care, which will be held from March 14 to 16, 2025, at the Hilton Hotel in Skopje. The topic of this Symposium is Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, and Obesity – Smart Pharmacist Module 3. Associate Professor Dr. Ariyana Meštrović, the holder of the Smart Pharmacist Program, will be the main educator and moderator of the two-day educational workshops.

Several aspects of Pharmaceutical Care for patients with hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity will be covered:

• Pharmacotherapy and phytotherapy for hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity.
• Therapy management process – Method and algorithm for making clinical decisions in the processes of pharmaceutical care for hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity – 10 complex cases from practice.
• Drug-related problems in hypertension, dyslipidemia, and obesity – their monitoring, resolution, and documentation.
• Recognizing, documenting, and resolving medication errors.
• Laboratory findings.
• Rational pharmacotherapy and adjuvant therapy.
• Achieving therapeutic goals and communication with doctors.
