Dear colleagues and associates,
It is a great honor and pleasure for us, on behalf of the Macedonian Neurological Society and the Nursing Section of neurology of ZMSTAM, to invite you to the Third Symposium of the Macedonian Neurological Society and the First Congress of the Nursing Section of neurology of ZMSTAM, titled “Novelties in treatment and health care for neurological patients”, with international participation. The professional event will be held from June 8-11, 2023, in Struga.
The symposium is dedicated to neurologists, but also to related medical branches whose areas are intertwined in everyday practice with the neurological field. The symposium came about as a continuation of the previous symposium that was held in May 2022 in Struga, where many topics were raised and aroused interest in the subsequent resolution of dilemmas, but also as an opportunity to exchange experiences on the latest scientific and professional achievements in neurology.
The main topics of the Symposium are early neurological diagnostics, as a very important segment for timely diagnosis, prognosis, treatment decision, and monitoring of neurological diseases (cerebrovascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative diseases, pain syndromes, rare neurological diseases, etc.)
Sessions dedicated to the latest guidelines from the European Neurological Society will also find their place at the Symposium.
The first congress of the Nursing Section of neurology of ZMSTAM is intended for nurses involved in neuroscience, as well as other health professionals and associates whose field of work is related to neurology and neuroscience.
The main topic of the first congress of nurses is: Neuro-care in the post-covid era.
The Symposium and Congress are composed of sessions with the participation of home and international experts, satellite symposiums dedicated to a specific topic, and oral and poster presentations in the field of neurology.
